The Idea of Wealth Management represents a composite execution of a wealth management paradigm influenced by the players – Advisor (the creator), Analytics (the preserver) & Markets ( the destroyer)!
Advisor – “Investment advice” is an advice relating to investing in, purchasing, selling or otherwise dealing in securities or investment products, and advice on investment portfolio containing securities or investment products, whether written, oral or through any other means of communication for the benefit of the client and shall include financial planning.
Analytics – “Analytics” is the study of numbers thus providing insight into the past performance and build a perspective/expectation on the future performance
Markets – Finally, “Markets” act as the place where “Road meets the Rubber” in terms of the Supply & the Demand. The marketplace is easily manipulative because of emotions, insider view, asymmetry in sharing.
This composite execution is often designed, managed & influenced greatly by many factors, of which, we strongly believe these 3 are the most important ones – Intention/Purpose, Interaction, Spaces.
- Firstly it is the Intention/Purpose as it informs the relationship of the context, mindset & capabilities
- Secondly, the design & execution of the relationship depends on the interaction. That, in turn is informed by the power differential and spaces to be covered between the players and we believe all the 3 styles are equally valid – Interrogative, Workshop, Consultative.
- Lastly the Spaces itself. These spaces provides the challenge of the relationship & guides the players on how to move forward during the engagement. We strongly believe any successful endeavor would require the players to deal with either or all of a) white Spaces, requiring, building of bridges across the chasm b) Black Spaces, requiring agility to avoid situations that can suck all into its vortex c) Purple Spaces, requiring, the ever drive to move the needle to reach the next stage of the journey.
